What is the dimension from the peak of the arch to the top surface of the mantel?
Per the manufacturer, the measurement from the center of the arch to the top of the shelf is 10 inches. The measurement from the edge of the arch to the top of the shelf is 13 1/2 inches.

Looks good over the fireplace but had a crack in the wood on the right back side when received. It did not effect the looks of hanging the mantel so we kept it.

Fantastic Mantel
I love my new Mantel. It is beautiful. It was easy to hang and paint. You will need to visit Home Depot to get the proper screws to install. I wish I would have done this years ago!
