We have natural gas and a vented wood-burning fireplace. We've had gas run to the firebox, and our dimensions are: Front width: 39.5", Rear width: 29.5", Depth: 17.5", Height: 18". We are looking for gas logs with an electric start, but we want to avoid running an electrical cord across the floor. Is it possible to power the electric start using batteries instead of plugging the unit into a wall outlet?
Yes, this log set features a battery-powered electronic control valve, so there is no need for a 120V connection.
