Love it!
I love the fire and how easily I can have a fire and turn it off at night and have so enjoyed it this winter. I wish more heat came into the room (I have the vented). It would also look much nicer if it would have a left side connection as that is where my gas line is. My plumber called and was told it only came with a right side connection. So he had to change the configuration so the box sits in the front instead of back. But overall very happy.

Great set
Was very pleased with this set. Great look. Easy to install and efireplace was very helpful in walking me thru a few minor tweaks needed to create perfection.
Reasonalable proce for great look
Only drawback I can saw is you will need to buy more ambers and maybe some lava rock to fill out. Minor 20-40 additional costs

Works well right out of the box.
The unit was easy for the plumbers to set up. It was replacing an older unit from a different manufacturer. So, the gas line was already there. Once the plumbing was connected, and the batteries installed in the controller, it started right up (allowing for time to flush the air out of the gas lines.
Much easier to operate than the old unit it replaced. The electric ignition is so simple, literally just flipping a switch. Looks great running.
Need a fair amount of space around the unit in the fireplace. This limits the size of the burner/log set. Was supposed to have included a remote control, which was left out of the shipment. Supposed to be coming soon.

Great Gas Logs
The burner was delivered in plenty of time but the log set was delivered to someone else in our neighborhood even though the address label was correct. Fortunately, the neighbors brought them to us a few days before Christmas so we had our logs working for Christmas morning. The short gas hose provided was with the assumption that the gas line of the fireplace was on the right side. Ours was on the left. So I had to purchase a longer hose (yellow) from the hardware store that is meant for furnaces or stoves, etc. So now I need a longer black hose so it doesn't look odd having this yellow hose in the fireplace.
Beautiful looking logs for a great price.
Provided gas hose too short in my case.

30 Years!
It is actually amazing how long these logs last. After leaving logs at a previous place of residence (what can I say, sometimes you don't want to take everything when you move), we decided that it wouldn't make sense to purchase another brand when our first set had served us so well. Once the set came, we noticed that the current model is exactly the same as the older one. It is nice to see that a company finds a really good product and then continues to make it. We will use these for another thirty years!
