Does the Real Fyre Burnt Rustic Oak Vented Gas Logs set come with a thermostat?
No, vented gas log sets, including the Real Fyre Burnt Rustic Oak Vented Gas Logs, are not designed to have thermostats. According to safety codes, vented sets exhaust most of the heat up the chimney. This significantly reduces the feasibility of thermostat control, as there isn't enough consistent heat to regulate effectively.

"Vented" means that you would leave open the damper in your fireplace so the burner can exhaust up the chimney. We would suggest reviewing our Gas Log Buyer's Guide.

Can I add glass to my gas fireplace, if it has logs?
Glass media can be added to surround the burner assembly, however it cannot be applied directly over the log burner. Using glass media in place of the logs would require replacement of the burner assembly.
