This product contains Silica, Copper sulfate, tribasic+A4, Trisodium phosphate, Ammonium Chloride & Manganese Acetate and should be used only for preventive maintenance and not as a substitute for annual cleanings.

As long as the fireplace is drawing well and you do not have any smoke rollback during normal burn times, this product can indeed be added with the Duraflame log.
