- Suitable for use on cast iron, steel, and firebrick
- Can withstand temperatures up to 2,000 degrees F
- Ideal for the installation and service of furnaces and oil burners
- Effectively bonds 1/8" wide metal-to-metal and metal-to-masonry joints
A great all-purpose adhesive, this Rutland Pre-Mixed Black Furnace Cement effectively creates airtight metal-to-metal and metal-to-masonry joints. That makes it ideal for the installation and servicing of furnaces and oil burners, sealing flues and ash pit doors, and performing minor stove repairs. And this cement is safe to use on cast iron, steel, and firebrick. In other words, you really can rely on this amazing product whenever you need an easy-to-use and heat-resistant hearth cement.
Please Note: This cement contains sodium silicate. It should not be used without safety goggles and chemical-resistant gloves.
