Is the insulation around the intake pipe flammable?

The insulation used in this product is a nonflammable ceramic fiber material with a flame resistant wrap. When used for its intended purpose, there is no hazard of combustion.

Pricey, for what it is, it gets the job done.

ugly in the open on floor , from wall to stove. I could have made something that would be better.
