Flashing is a necessary component for any chimney vent. As long as your vent reaches the outside, flashing is necessary to create a weather resistant seal. Our flashing is available in two options: ventilated and non-ventilated. If your chimney passes through a non-ventilated space, ventilated flashing becomes necessary. Vice versa for ventilated spaces. The options for flashing, as it pertains to roof pitch, range from 7/12 to 12/12 pitch. Shasta offers their exclusive limited lifetime warranty with each and every chimney vent and accessory they create, produce and sell. Make sure you have plenty of confidence in every item you purchase.
