Flashing is a necessary component for any chimney vent. As long as your vent reaches the outside, flashing is necessary to create a weather resistant seal. Our flashing is available in two options: ventilated and non-ventilated. If your chimney passes through a non-ventilated space, ventilated flashing becomes necessary. Vice versa for ventilated spaces. The options for flashing, as it pertains to roof pitch, range from 0/12 to 12/12 pitch. Shasta Vent Flashing - Check Your Pipe Size!
This flashing is designed for 8-inch inner diameter Shasta vents. Be sure to measure your vent pipe correctly before ordering, as it won't fit a 6-inch pipe. The fit for the 8-inch pipe was still a little loose.
