With the Stone Age Manufacturing 36" Mezzo Masonry Pizza Oven and Combination Fireplace, you have the luxury of a pizza oven on top with a vent-free fireplace below. The cooking chamber has over 800 square inches of cooking space. While you do have to buy the vent-free gas log set separately, this kit does include the firebrick, 9-inch chimney flue, and a metal oven door. Enjoy your outdoor space with this multipurpose wonder from Stone Age Manufacturing.

Can this be installed indoors?
This unit is designed and sold as an outdoor product and is not approved for indoor installation. The pizza oven section is wood-fired and produces smoke, requiring a full code-compliant chimney system, whereas this kit includes only a 9-inch masonry flue section meant for open-air termination. The fireplace below the oven is intended solely for a vent-free gas log set and has no flue, consistent with its outdoor configuration. Stone Age does not offer any of their pizza oven or combination kits for indoor installation.
For an indoor Stone Age masonry firebox, consider the 36 Inch New Age Five Piece Firebox Kit, which is rated for both indoor and outdoor use. Please note this alternative is a fireplace only and does not include a pizza oven.
Detailed information regarding the Mezzo combo can be found in the dimensional drawing and assembly instructions. Any indoor masonry installation requires approval from your local building official, as chimney sizing and clearance to combustible framing are determined by local building codes.

For your Stone Age Manufacturing 36 Inch Mezzo Masonry Pizza Oven and Combination Fireplace, the oven portion, located on top, is designed for wood-firing. This is where you would place your wood and charcoals for cooking your food. The bottom section, the fireplace, is intended for a vent-free gas log set only and is not designed for burning wood or charcoal.

No. Our only option for a combination woodburning fireplace and oven would be the Stone Age Manufacturing 63" Caminetto Medeo Combo Wood Fireplace and Pizza Oven Combo.
