Folding glass doors will not be an option for any direct vent gas fireplace.

When selecting a top vent setup what insulation needs to stay if any?
This direct vent gas fireplace utilizes a double-wall gas vent pipe with a 4.5-inch inside diameter and a 7.5-inch outside diameter. The clearance required around this pipe when going vertically is only 1-inch. However, if there are any offsets, any inclined or horizontal run will have a 3" clearance requirement.
