    What is the difference between vre4500 and vre4550 superior fireboxes?

    The VRE4500 number indicates a series of outdoor vent-free gas fireboxes, available in three sizes, 36", 42", and 50". The VRE4550 is simply the 50" version of the VRE4500 series.

    Will it be okay to install in high attitudes (5200 ft elevation)?

    Operating vent-free heaters installed in these fireboxes above elevations of 4,500 feet could cause pilot outage along with a diminished BTU output.
