The Superior WCT6940 EPA Certified Wood Burning Fireplace Firebox is designed exclusively for burning solid natural wood fuel. It is not intended for artificial logs like the Java Log. Using unapproved materials may compromise the appliance's warranty and certification.

This unit is not designed to operate with the doors open without overfiring the unit. It does not allow for a gas or propane line to be run into the firebox.

Warm & Efficient: Superior WCT6940 Firebox!
This fireplace insert provides amazing heat, and is surprisingly easy to maintain. Installation was a bit involved, but the performance makes it worthwhile. I'm very happy with the efficiency.
