No, this is a radiant woodburning fireplace with no option to add a fan/blower kit. None of our outdoor models offer a blower as an accessory.

Yes, though we would recommend having a mantel shelf installed between the top of this unit and the television. You may also consider recessing the television into the wall above this unit.

I read through the PDFs of the manual a couple times. I am looking at doing an outdoor fireplace installation, but I have not been able to determine what the thickness of the foundation is. Just to be clear, the firebox must sit on some kind of base. I am wondering what the length, width, and thickness of that base would be and specific information about the construction of that base. While I am at it, what is the weight of this fireplace?

While the manufacturer does not explicitly cover the construction of a hearth platform, there are many acceptable solutions. I will typically utilize a base constructed of a bottom 2 x 4 treated bottom plate, riser studs of the appropriate height placed every 12 to 16 inches, and a top plate. I will then span the distance between the top plate with a pair of 2 x 4 plates placed flat and at an equal distance left to right. Finally, a 1/2 to 3/4 inch piece of OSB will be used as the base platform. Once the fireplace is placed on the base, ceder shims can be used to level the unit if needed. This unit weighs approximately 220 pounds.

This unit could be used indoors. The only difference between this unit and the WRT3042WS is that this unit is made of stainless steel to prevent rust.
