The unit does not have a standard surround as one is not required for installation, and while it is not included, an outside air kit can be added to this unit.

Yes, there is a blower included that is connected to a heat-activated sensor. A thermostat is an optional accessory for the optional forced air kit. This unit requires 6 inch insulated Wood Burning Class A chimney for operation. Elbows can be added to offset as needed.
