What is the difference between a masonry vs a radiant wood burning fireplace?
A radiant fireplace will not have a blower, nor doors to seal the combustion process, although almost all masonry fireplaces are in fact radiant by design, some will have heat exchangers or blowers to help capture and distribute more heat.

If you don't order the brick interior, what does the interior look like, and can it be used without any other interior added?
No, you must choose an interior brick kit to complete this fireplace and use it. It would be dangerous to try and do so without it, as the firebrick is integral for installation requirements. However, we do sell a similar 50" woodburning fireplace that includes refractory panels.
