Does the TessaRai 30 firebowl withstand Wisconsin winters? Do you sell or recommend covers for rainstorms and winter? Lastly, can this natural gas model be started and controlled via smartphone?
The TessaRai 30 Inch Square Gas Fire Bowl is constructed from durable glass fiber-reinforced concrete (GFRC). While GFRC is sturdy, this model does not have inherent weather protection. For harsh Wisconsin winters, we highly recommend using a cover when the fire bowl is not in use to prolong its lifespan and prevent damage from moisture and extreme temperatures. We do offer various protective covers and can help you find one compatible with your fire bowl.
The Match Light version features a manual match-light ignition and key valve for flame adjustment, so it cannot be controlled by phone. However, if remote operation is desired, the TessaRai 30 Inch Square Fire Bowl with Auto Ignition offers WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities for phone control.
