I'm not clear on how to fill the hopper. Is there a tray that you pull out to fill? Also, does this just sit inside existing fireplace or do you mount it?
    1 Answer
Yes, please see page 9 of the installation manual for details on filling the hopper.  This insert sits inside an existing fireplace, it is not mounted.

Why is there no ash can for this unit?  Do you have to vacuum out the ash?  And if so, how often?

    1 Answer
The TN20 does not have space for an ash pan due to its compact design. you would need to shovel or vacuum out the ash as needed, which will vary based on the frequency with which you burn the fires and what type of wood you use to burn them.

Will this heat my 2600 sq ft home?
    1 Answer
No.  We would estimate it would heat roughly half the area, perhaps more depending on location and insulation of the home.

Can I get this with a battery backup system for when the power goes out?
    1 Answer
There are currently no battery backup systems on the market that will power a pellet stove during a power outage.  There are some battery power supply units that are designed to shut the unit down properly in the case of a power outage, but they will not run the appliance an extended period of time.
