Is the damper in this regulator adjustable?

The damper is indeed adjustable, with a small threaded weight installed on the upper third of the flap. The weight can be threaded inward or outward to offset the center point of balance.

How far away from the stove damper does it need to be?

For this item to function properly, there should be a 12 inch run of pipe between the damper and the barometric tee.

I have a pipe damper on my wood stove. Would the regulator install before or after the damper?
1 Answer
The draft regulator will need to be installed above the manual damper. When the stove is operating, the regulator will balance the draft flow, based on the position of the manual damper.
