US Stove Small Cast Iron Fireplace Grate for Small Logwood Cast Iron Wood Burning Stoves

This grate was the perfect size for our small wood burner. Burns the wood completely. It makes starting a fire very easy. To remove the ashes, simply stand it up against the back of the stove and shovel out the ashes. Works great.

This worked perfectly for my wood fireplace, the bottom of my cast iron grate had deteriorated from years of use .

Starting to bend in the middle, already loosing it's strength. Used it 2 weeks. Bummer!

Finally I found a grate that fits my small wood burning stove. Had a heck of a time in years past where I had to take it to a place where they made bigger grates smaller.It fits like a charm into my stove. The wood will be able to fit flat instead of rolling off. Have not had a chance to use it yet with 100, 90 and now high 80 temperatures.

Just what I needed for my stove. Now the old grate can be retired and I can still have great comfort on the cold nights of winter.

We got not only this grate, which is exactly the size I needed for our smaller wood burning stove, but also firebrick for the base of the inside of the stove. We really like the way the stove radiates heat now. The grate let's air circulate like it needs to, providing a nice, consistently hot flame.
