I was given an Osburn 2000-I wood-burning insert. I am building a new construction house. Does this unit require an existing masonry fireplace, or can a fireplace installer frame up a new enclosure and use this unit?

The Osburn 2000-I wood-burning insert requires an existing masonry fireplace and chimney for installation. This model cannot be built into a new enclosure or framed in, and it is not approved or listed for use with manufactured chimney pipe.
