Inserts are overly expensive unless you are planning to use a fire as your main heat source. Our Large Shell Fireback is the answer to all of these problems by protecting the firebox, increasing the amount of heat radiated into the room, and adding a decorative feature to the fireplace all year long. In addition, this fireback works with either gas or wood fires.

Per the manufacturer, the dimensions of this item are 22 inches wide by 18 inches tall. Please keep in mind that because this is a cast iron item, each casting can vary by up to an inch in size.
