I am a custom audio video contractor looking for a fireplace mantel that I can install that would allow for me to run wires for a television when mounted above a fireplace. I run into this problem very often and feel this could be a great product to have available if it is not.

Answer:
We do offer some mantel shelves that use a hollow, boxed beam setup for this very purpose. A good example is the
Pearl Mantels Shenandoah Mantel Shelf - No. 412. However, I am assuming you are looking for a mantel with legs that would allow you to route your cabling up from the floor? Unfortunately, I am not aware of a mantel that has a hollowed out leg for this purpose.
You are correct that this would be a great product to offer, especially with the current trend of mounting televisions above fireplaces.

Do you have a mantel cabinet that would fit a Mendota dxv45?

Answer:
We are not a Mendota dealer, so we do not have any mantels that are made for their models. We apologize for the inconvenience.
