Setting up a fireplace in the corner of a room makes sense. It doesn't take up space needed for other furnishings, but can quickly become the center of attention. To make it a truly warm and inviting addition to your home, a mantle for a corner fireplace will complete the look. Many mantles are available for your particular heating appliance. They are offered in various finishes and even unfinished. Whatever your decor, there are styles that will be suitable.

I am getting the Vail 26. Can you tell me if I should get the 10K or 20K BTU?

If you are planning on using the unit in a bedroom or for heating an area of 250 square feet or less, the 10K version would be the unit to use. A larger area would benefit from the increased output of the 20K version, with a larger flame adding to the aesthetics of the unit.

I like the Napoleon Georgian wooden corner mantel and I am looking for a gas insert with river rocks to fit into it. Would you suggest?
I am looking at the Vantage Hearth 21" corner fireplace mantle. We would need a propane fireplace for it. What do you have that is available? Also, Is this something my husband can install or does it need to be professionally done?
