What is required to add this remote to my Buck Stove Hepplewhite Steel Vent Free Gas Stove?
This remote will include a receiver box. The receiver box will be wired to the millivolt valve on the stove, and the transmitter will then sync to the receiver to allow you to operate the stove. The remote will include installation/syncing instructions.

I recommend seeing if the same issue happens when operating the system via the receiver by moving the receiver slide switch to the On position.

Nice Accessory

I purchased this thermostatic remote control for my new Buck fireplace . It was easy to hook up and works great. We love it. Although it is a bit pricey, I feel that it should only cost half of what it is being sold for. I guess it is probably considered a luxury item and not a necessity.

Pros

You can operate the fireplace from any chair in the room and don't have to go to a wall switch or the fireplace itself.

Cons

It's price.
