I have a Regency HZ54 Horizon Gas Fireplace with a viewing width of 45 inches - I want to purchase the WDV600 log set which is designed for a Majestic or Monessen 60" Serenade which has a similar viewing width of 47". Will this log set fit in a firebox 2" narrower? I tried to find dimensions of the log online but was unsuccessful.

Answer:

This decorative log set is to be placed in the WDV600TSC fireplace with 2" of extra space from the front and back of the unit, so there should be room for the set to fit.

Please keep in mind however, that we cannot guarantee proper operation of another fireplace with these logs added, due to certain design considerations that are built into the logs and burner of the fireplace.

It is possible that the burner on your HZ54 is different enough from the WDV600TSC that the logs will interfere with the flame pattern of the unit and cause undesired operation. The best option would be to consult with a Regency dealer to see if a similar product is offered for their unit.
