Does this screen have feet on the front and the back? If so, where are the backward-facing feet located? Since a standard opening is 36" and this is 39" wide, the feet could prevent the screen from fitting flush against the face of the fireplace.

Answer:Per the manufacturer, this screen has two leveling legs on the back, about 7" inside of each end. These are L-brackets on the back of the screen for stability.

Can you order custom sizes? If so, do you know how deep the screen is from front of the foot to the back of the screen?
By Tyler M. - Fireplace Specialist on March 30, 2012
Answer:Unfortunately, these screens are not available in custom sizes.
This screen has a front leg support that protrudes 4 1/2" from the screen, and the frame is 1/2" thick, so the total distance from front of the leg to back of the screen is approximately 5".
