- Full vent kit for in-home chimney systems for Superior, Vantage Hearth, DESA and Vanguard woodburning fireplaces that use 12DM chimney pipe.
- Includes a combination of 12DM class A chimney pipe lengths according to your choice of chimney height.
- 12DM pipe is an air-cooled chimney with an 12 3/8" inside diameter (30-gauge stainless steel) and 15" outside diameter (28-gauge galvanized steel).
- Pipe requires 2" clearance to combustibles.
- Includes one firestop to protect 12DM pipe passing through combustible celing/floor penetrations .
- Pitched-roof flashing and storm collar also included.
- Large round chimney cap with louvered screen (RLT-12DM).
- Pipe sections utilize a snap-lock design for easy installation .
- Pipe sections will arrive in cartons labeled as full foot increment lengths. Actual final assembled lengths are indicated by the footages listed when purchasing.
This venting kit includes everything needed for an in-home installation of 12DM class A chimney pipe for select IHP/Superior, Vantage Hearth, DESA or Vanguard woodburning fireplaces. Simply choose your required chimney height (measured from the top of the fireplace) and the appropriate roof pitch option and you will receive the corresponding pipe lengths and roof flashing. The kit also includes one firestop, a storm collar and a round chimney cap with a mesh screen.
Please Note: The minimum chimney height for woodburning fireplaces varies from model to model. Please consult your owner's manual to ensure you select sufficient height for your application.
Also Note: Pipe lengths cannot be cut or altered.

A roof flashing is indeed part of this kit, but you must choose the one you need based on your roof pitch measurement.

The length of chimney in this kit will depend on the length selected using the drop down menu. The lengths start at 10 feet.

High quality. Easy installation once I figured out that the product label on the outer galvanized sleeve is upside down. This is counterintuitive and created some temporary confusion on my part as to why the sleeves were not snapping together. The chimney cap has very sharp metal edges... be careful. Ouch.
