My remote is broken. This appears to be the same one I have. Mine says TRX-25A though. Would mine and this one be on the same frequency? Could I just use the remote from this kit and leave my current receiver on the gas log unit? Will they work together?
After contacting the manufacturer, they have advised that the TRX25A is the newer version of this remote and that is the model that would be shipped to you. Assuming the problem is just your remote, the existing receiver should indeed be reusable.

Replacement Remote
Worked perfectly after a "small" modification to the mounting bracket for the receiver unit. Easy to operate and works like a charm, I think it will save me a lot of money because it is more sensitive than the old one that got knocked off of the coffee table and wouldn't work anymore. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs one like it.
This store was a delight to deal with prompt answer and recommendation to a question, and super fast delivery and a decent price.

Easy to operate and mount and install. More sensitive than old remote which will lead to fuel savings.
Cons
Had to modify mounting bracket to fit my logs, nothing major just a couple of holes needed to be aligned a little better.
