Unfortunately, as this is meant to be set against the back of a fireplace and isn't meant to be drilled through, there really is no way to mount it on a wall. This would be something you'd likely need to fashion a ledge for it to sit on.

craftsman charm
We wanted our fireplace to radiate heat longer and more outward so I started looking at firebacks. At the time I bought this one for $326. The oak leaves are very fitting for the craftsman look we are trying to create for our hearth and living room. Though in the close up photo you can see ash likes to settle on the raised edges of the design. Not sure what to do about that. We are not using feet, and just have it ever so slightly tilted against the back wall. Maybe that would not be an issue with feet. But we are VERY happy with it and will even take it with us when we move in 8-10 years.

Beautiful and functional addition
The product was exactly how described. It fit perfectly and the craftsmanship is excellent. We had thought about purchasing this for several years but just hadn't done it and now we wished we would have purchased years ago. We live in the South but go through about a cord to 1 1/2 cords a year and by adding this it seems like we "burn through" less wood because the heat that is maintained.

Radiates Heat Where You Want It
Before we put this fireback in our fireplace, the wall behind the fireplace would get really hot, and that worried me. So I was happy to find out after we put the fireback in that not only does it radiate heat forward, it keeps the wall behind the fireplace cool, which I hadn't really expected. We waited till after we had put it in to order the feet for it because we didn't want to get the wrong sized feet (feet that wouldn't fit behind our logs). You really don't have to have feet on it, but I was concerned that the fireback might get bumped when the logs shifted and fall forward. (Maybe I worry too much?) Anyway, it's very heavy although it's only an inch thick and works very well.
