Do the feet go both directions on the external edge of the screen, or are the inward feet a few inches further in?
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on October 8, 2012
Answer:Per the manufacturer, the inward facing stabilizers are set inward by approximately 4.5 inches on either side. This is designed to allow the stabilizers to fit into a standard 36-inch opening without causing problems.

My fireplace opening is 33" H x 33" W. Can you tell me if the bowed top of the screen is at least 33" at its lowest point? Will the inside stabilizer's fit inside the 33" openings? If the answer is 'no' to these, can you recommend a screen that will work with my 33" x 33" opening?
