Does the fan swivel on the mounting bracket or is it stationary?

    It is stationary.

It can swivel but not on its own. I have turned it to make air come towards the room or away to a different room.

    Awesome
This thing is super quiet and gets air moved up the stairs where we want it. It is so small and quiet that you don't really notice it.
Quiet Easy to set up Not obtrusive It's not available in a color other than black

    Just what we needed!
I purchased 3 of these to keep the warm air moving our of the house when we use our swamp cooler. They work like a charm! The fans are easy to assemble and super quiet. These features along with the fact that you can reverse the fan direction when needed are why I ordered them in the first place. I will be suggesting this product to friends.

    Great for Moving Air
I mounted two of these small fans behind my wood stove to circulate the warm air. They function quietly and efficiently, doing exactly what we needed what we needed them to do..
    Small, quiet, easy to mount

    It Does The Job
It's quiet, but not as quiet as I expected. It moves more air than expected, so I'm very satisfied.

    Good Product
Easy install...quiet...it replaced a fan that became very noisy. So far I am very pleased.

    Poor Switch Choice
I can't say I have any problems with how well the fan works. It circulates air very well and is very quiet. The problem I do have with this fan is the seemingly poor design choice of where to place the switch to turn it on and off. Many lamps and other small appliances have a switch located somewhere in the middle of the cord, but not this switch. They decided to put it right next to where it plugs into the wall. I can reach down and turn it on easily enough, but someone who has trouble bending down probably wouldn't use this.

    Extremely quiet and effective
This was a great fan to replace the one I purchased from a local hardware store that made a lot of white noise. This aluminum fan works great, is extremely quiet, and effectively circulates the air through the room. I can recommend it highly.

    Powerful and Quiet
This is a powerful and whisper quiet fan and works wonders by moving the warm air into the cooler room. You don't expect such a small fan to work this well. Amazing!

    Believe the Reviews!
When you have to check and make sure air is moving to see if a fan is actually on, it is a quality fan. That is exactly what I have to do with this one. I actually didn't even think the reviews were being entirely honest when I was first shopping for fans, but I am glad I decided to try it out anyway. And the amount of sound it puts out is just the beginning! Even though it doesn't look big enough, it really moves a lot of air. If it is near the top of the ceiling (if your doorways go up that high) it will really grab that hot air and move it around the house. You can definitely take these reviews at face value.

    Great Fans
After getting these fans in record time (kudos to the company for such incredible speed), I was also pleased to find that they are even better than advertised. We were thinking of using the fans where we sleep, but were hesitant since we are light sleepers. We can't actually detect any noise coming out of them. Even with how quiet they are, they move air extremely well. We actually use these as sort of blowers for our fireplace, and the air coming out of one side (the other one is facing toward the fireplace) is very, very warm. If we discover some sort of fatal flaw later on, we will make sure to come back and tell all of you. As is, you will be getting a great fan.

Great. Even Better With a Little Bit of Ingenuity
I am quite pleased with how they chose to design this fan. I needed a few of them to get some heat out of my stove room, and was looking for a nice, little, quiet unit to get the job done. These fans are quiet as a whisper, and the mount for the door is very well designed. I didn't use the mount it came with, but instead actually installed them above each door in the wall. I also did a little bit of my own wiring, and have them operating with a light switch controlling them. Even if you used all of the mounting brackets that came with the fan, it still wouldn't get in the way of closing or opening it.

    Works Very Well
This fan is great if you are looking for a good way to circulate heat from your fireplace or wood stove around the house. At first I was concerned with parts of the fan being plastic, but thankfully it was very sturdy. I am also very surprised by how quite the fan is. You can do just about anything with it in the room (including watching TV) and still hear perfectly well. I would recommend this to others.

    Amazingly Effective
One thing that is important to note about the kind of fan that you want is that the amount of air the fan moves isn't as important as what kind of air the fan moves. This fan isn't very big (think the width of a big softball), and I wasn't sure it would do the job. Thankfully, I was dead wrong. It is quieter than any other fan I have ever used, and works much better than a fan sitting in a doorway setup. The problem with plopping a fan in the middle of a doorway is that it moves cool air instead of hot air. This fan sits near the top of the doorway, so all that rising warm air gets circulated instead. Anyone who has a wood stove knows how hard it can be to move the heat around the house, but with one or two of these fans, it is really easy.
