It is for use with 6-inch, through-ceiling venting to avoid slippage. Rapid connection to other venting components is possible because of durable construction, included clamp, and the twist-lock application. Using this gas vent ceiling firestop support provides one-inch clearance to combustibles and the 25-year warranty gives peace of mind to the homeowner.
