Does this screw to the ceiling or do I need a support ring on the bottom? I'm installing a new woodstove (small) on my patio flat ceiling 60 inches between the stove and the ceiling (6 inch opening on stove, 30 inches of attic space)? And I'm just trying to get the stove pipe setup for now. I'm working on the roof later. I just want to get the inside setup through the ceiling.

The support would attach to the rafters.

Is the collar supposed to come with the ceiling support or is it separate?

Dura Tech Round Ceiling Support
I had purchased new insulated chimney pipe and thought I had all I needed to replace my old single walled pipe. When it came time to put it all together, I couldn't marry the inside single walled pipe to the roof insulated pipe. I emailed this store for help and received an immediate reply of helpful information, with links to the parts I would need. I ordered and received the parts within five days and had my new chimney up and usable. The personal help given was the key, as reading the parts nomenclature wasn't clear enough for me. Thank you customer service!
