1) The blower is slightly imperfectly seated at the rear of the fireplace cabinet. If not flush against the floor and rear wall, motor vibration may spread to the metal fireplace cabinet, producing unwanted noise. Imperfect seating will also allow the blower's vibration to move the blower itself slightly out of then back into position, resulting in the noise being intermittent.

2) The blower requires routine cleaning or lubrication. Even a newly purchased blower may require cleaning if it has been subject to warehouse shelving or freight delivery conditions. If you are uncomfortable performing this task, please contact a qualified service professional.
