- For use with B-Vent Gas Fireplaces and Wood Burning Fireplaces
Any combustion appliance requires a combustion air supply, and this Outside Combustion Air Kit by Vantage Hearth provides for that requirement. This air kit with Flex Line is designed to be used with Vantage Hearth heating appliances that require outdoor combustion air flow, and enables the stove or appliance to pull air from outside of the house rather than from the inside. These air kits increase overall heating efficiency and keep the whole house warmer because you are pulling in air directly from outside rather than through the house.

The combustion air kit arrived on time and undamaged. All parts shown in the photo can with the kit however, I would suggest buying two band clamps for the hose and also a tube of waterproof chalking. Depending on your outer wall, you might consider longer screws for attaching the vent housing.
Pros
Our fire is now easier to ignite and the fire burns much hotter. Also we have no more smoke back draft into the room. Just what we needed!
