Product Details
The right doors will give your fireplace a great look that you will absolutely love. This arched door frame by Empire comes with hinges to facilitate the hanging of the separately purchased arched doors. It is designed for use with the 42" Breckenridge Premium fireboxes and is available in both matte black and hammered pewter finishes. It will accommodate leaf arch, mission arch, and standard arch doors so you can pick the style that best suits your existing decor.

What are the dimensions of this Empire VBY42T arched door frame?
This is an arched frame that is used to attach the leaf arch, mission arch, and standard arch doors to Empire's line of Breckenridge Premium line of vent free fireboxes. While the manufacturer does not provide these dimensions as it is only suitable for use with the Breckenridge Premium line, the frame would be roughly 40 W x 27 7/16 H or the same size as the viewing area of the firebox. Please note that this would not be compatible with any other firebox.

How does the frame attach to the firebox/fireplace? Can it be attached if the firebox is already installed flush in the wall?
This unit will attach to the shoulder screws that should be mounted just inside the perimeter of the opening, facing inward and usually hidden by the screen mesh panels. Because of this mounting arrangement, the frame can be attached after the installation without a problem.
