Can this unit be operated with a wall switch or remote control? Also, does it work with propane?
    1 Answer
No, this ventless gas log set is operated with a manually-controlled valve and there is no option for a remote or a wall switch.  Moreover, it is a natural gas-only unit and cannot be used with propane.  However, we do offer this same log set for use with propane and a remote-ready valve kit (to which you can add a separately-purchased remote control or wall switch kit)--you can see that option here.

Does this log set come complete with a piezo pilot starter, pilot light, and remote?
    1 Answer
While this burner does have a push-button spark for lighting the pilot light, there is no remote control included and there is no option to add one, as this is a manually-controlled burner.

    Fred

    November 17, 2021
What is the ignition mechanism? Does one use matches or ignition button?
    1 Answer
There is a push-button igniter that would be used to lit the pilot, which then stays lit as you use a knob on the unit to turn the burner on and off.

    Tom

    Is there a remote control?

This unit is a manual control with 3-Position (Hi-Med-Low) knob so it would not include a remote. But a unit with a remote option can be found here (you would need to select the remote option).

Is there flame adjustment on this manual burner? Also, is the traditional log & ember set needed to get the embers under the set or are there some included in the log set?

The "m" model has a 3 position control knob for high, medium and low settings.  You would need to purchase the ember bed kit for the logs and embers in front of the burner.

    Amazing product!
We purchased this unit due to the unique area for our project and the age of the home. Simply stated this is the most realistic-looking unit! We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a ventless burner system!
Realistic Cost affective A bit pricey to add a switch/remote.
