The kit features a Drolet Escape 1500-I Wood Burning Insert that features a blower, ash drawer, air damper, and a ceramic glass viewing door that allows you to see the flames during operation. Alongside the insert, the kit also includes a stainless steel liner, connector, top plate, and chimney cap, as well as a long faceplate that provides both protection and style to the assembled kit.

Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 6" inner diameter.

We recommend hiring a professional chimney sweep to clean the stainless steel liner for a woodburning insert.  Depending on frequency of use, this may need to be done annually.  You can find a chimney sweep in your area here.
