How difficult is the installment of this fireplace door?
Installation of the door is relatively simple. The bottom door pins will drop into predrilled holes along the bottom of the fireplace opening, while the top pins are spring loaded. They can be retracted easily and then lined up with the top holes in the fireplace door rail. Releasing the pins will allow them to pop into position.

The FC-3880 uses the 38ABF doors, and requires the H6823 track kit.

The fireplace insert is very nice but after our first fire, we decided we definitely needed the doors because we could smell the ash. The doors were very simple to install, they just slipped into the premade tracks. Well worth the small cost.
