Will these doors fit a KC 38-2 fireplace with no additional parts?
Yes, those are the correct doors but if your fireplace is older than August of 2000, you will also need this H6823 track.

Those are not the correct doors. Your fireplace takes the 12M20 doors and the H6823 required track.

According to Superior's literature, the H6823 track kit would be necessary for the 38ABF (12M07) doors to mount to your model of fireplace.

These doors do not work with masonry fireplaces. They are specifically designed to work only with certain models of Superior/IHP brand fireplaces

We have a 29 year old fireplace and these doors, with the addition of the track kit that is recommended, fit perfectly. The track kit is essential and they do tell you that up front.
