Will the Superior BDB 42 Bi-fold glass doors fit the Underwriter Laboratories superior fireplace model number AD154127?
The Superior/IHP BDB42 Bi-Fold Tempered Glass Fireplace Doors are approved by Superior/IHP only for a specific list of factory-built fireplace models. Fitment is determined by the appliance model number, not just the opening size. The model number AD154127 does not match the format of a Superior model number we can identify; it may be a serial number as data plates typically list both. Unfortunately, the text on the data plate in the photo you sent is too unclear for us to confirm the exact model number. Please locate the data plate inside your firebox, usually on an inner side wall or behind the lower louver or trim panel at the base of the opening. Find the line labeled 'Model' and provide that exact number. Our guide on finding your fireplace model and serial number can help you locate it. Once we have the correct model number, we can confirm if the BDB42 doors are approved for your unit.

We are sorry, but we do not have the factory doors for the HCE-4550A model. Our only option would be an aftermarket solution, such as these: bi-fold prefab fireplace doors.

Slight damage and wrong installation instructions
Hi, y'all did good in getting doors shipped to my home in less than a week. I did notice slight damage to the doors after I got them installed (paint chipped off and hinge hanging up a little). The instructions that came with the doors was not right for my Superior fireplace but I was able to find the right instructions on your website.

Beautiful quality at the best price!
We didnt realize that fireplace glass is so expensive until one shattered. We searched through many vendors until finding an e-FireplaceStore replacement doorset. They look very stately and were less than half-price of other sets we found. They were delivered within a few days and I was able to install them myself with just a few basic tools in about one hour. We are enjoying our fireplace once again this winter!
