The 24-inch section is effective, but it won't impinge on the look of your roof, and the 8-inch diameter is compatible with piping of the same size.

What is the outside diameter of the pipe?
The outside diameter is 10.5 inches, but please note that this chimney is only safe to use with certain Majestic wood fireplaces we also offer.
