Unfortunately, we do not have a screen designed to cover this cap to keep out insects.

Does this cap require a damper?
The Majestic direct vent caps do not require a damper. The exhaust and air chamber portions of the cap will only allow air into the firebox, which is sealed with gasketed glass.
