How does the flex pipe attach to the double-wall pipe that goes through the flashing and out the roof?

You will attach the inner and outer flex vent to the crimped end of the rigid pipe. You will need to follow the installation manual and use 3 sheet metal screws and red high temp silicone on each connection. You can call us at 800-203-1642 for additional tech support.

The inner and outer pipes are attached first the inner (obviously), by applying a bead of Milpac and using three self drilling sheet metal screws (in the baggie 1/2" +/-), then the same on the exterior. The instructions are in the fireplace manual.

Made installation of the fireplace chimney very easy going through the attic in going around trusses would recommend this product to anybody.
