If I start at the stove with 4 inch flex pipe, what do I do when I get to the termination box and have more flex than I need to complete the job? Do I cut it? What do you use if you have to cut it?
    1 Answers
A fine-toothed hacksaw should be used to cut off the excess length.

Is this pipe painted black? Also, are you able to use the flex length in conjunction with the rigid pieces?
    1 Answers
This kit does indeed include both rigid and flex components. The rigid pieces (the 24" and the 28" to 54") are 7" in diameter and serve as the intake pipe for your stove. The 4" diameter 10' flex section is designed to pass through the center of the 7" pipe, and serves as the exhaust portion of the venting system. All of the exposed 7" diameter pieces of pipe are painted black.

Do I need a vinyl siding stand off on the outside of house when vinyl siding is involved ?
    1 Answers
While some vinyl siding can withstand the heat from a direct vent termination, I highly recommend using the standoff as a preventative measure to ensure there are no problems.
