Gas logs designed to look like a real wood-burning fire are what Real Fyre Charred Oak Gas Logs by Peterson are all about. The realistic, partially burnt exterior gives you the impression of an actual fire burning away in your fireplace. To add to the authenticity, the bottom log is 'burnt through' and allows you and your family to look inside the fire to see the flames and embers within. These gas logs not only look great, they are built to last thanks to the high-quality materials used in construction and the steel reinforcement rods. Peterson is the most trusted gas log manufacturer around for a reason. Take advantage of their skill and know-how, get a realistic look, and get the right value for your money with a set of Real Fyre Charred Oak Gas Logs by Peterson.

The Real Fyre G45 Glowing Ember Stainless Steel Burner creates dancing flames and a maximum glowing ember effect. With this cutting edge Outdoor G45 burner, you will enjoy a beautiful outdoor fireplace with dancing flames and glowing embers. Dazzle your family and friends with a beautiful set of fireplace logs in your outdoor fireplace! You'll enjoy many hours and memories gathering around the fire.

This is a vented gas log set that must be installed in a fully vented wood burning fireplace. With vented gas logs, you'll enjoy a large, realistic-looking flame that operates with an open chimney flue, or damper. These logs, which simulate a wood-burning fire, are the most realistic type of gas logs but, just like real fires, lose some of the generated heat up the chimney. Vented gas log sets are the most popular type of gas logs sold. Professional installation is recommended.

Sets include handcrafted logs, custom grate, Real-Fyre Burner System, Granules (sand or vermiculite), Glowing Embers, grate clips/log locators, pan/connector kit and damper clamp.

This gas log set comes with a Manual Safety Pilot Kit. The manual safety pilot is the most basic safety pilot. It is a standing pilot light which stays lit indefinitely. To light the log set or to turn the flame up and down, you simply turn the knob on the pilot kit. This knob is located on the actual pilot kit which is attached to the burner system.

Customer Q&A with Product Specialists

Leonard from NC asked:
Why does the fireplace need to be more than 24 inches wide if the log set is 24 inches? What are the actual length and depth measurements?
Why does the fireplace need to be more than 24 inches wide if the log set is 24 inches? What are the actual length and depth measurements?
The reason for the additional necessary width is due to the fact that the safety pilot kit is attached to the end of the burner and needs additional space to fit. The log set itself does measure 24 inches across the front, but the pilot kit requires an additional 4 inches of space, bringing the total to 28 inches. The reason for the 32 inch width requirement is so that the log set will be centered in the opening. Larger remote pilot kits require more space, while match light models require less.
