Installing an ANSI Certified Glowing Ember burner system is also stress-free since it comes with everything you need to connect it to your log set.
This is a vented gas log burner that must be installed in a fully vented wood burning fireplace. With vented gas logs, you'll enjoy a large, realistic-looking flame that operates with an open chimney flue, or damper. Vented Gas Log sets, which simulate a wood-burning fire, are the most realistic type of gas logs but, just like real fires, lose some of the generated heat up the chimney. Vented gas log sets are the most popular type of gas logs sold. Professional installation is recommended.
Sets include custom grate, Real-Fyre Burner System, Granules (sand or vermiculite), Glowing Embers, grate clips/log locators, pan/connector kit and damper clamp.
This gas log burner comes with a Variable Flame Remote Ready Pilot System. The variable flame remote ready pilot system allows you to control your system using a remote control, wall switch, or the manual knob on the burner system. This system does have variable flame height control to turn the fire up and down. The control valve and regulator is ANSI certified and is pre attached to the burner.

Does the apk-17 transmitter sit outside of the burner, or is it installed at the factory within the burner? If outside, how is it protected from the heat?
On the G46 burner, the APK-17 valve kit is pre-installed in the rear on the right side of the burner. There is a built-in heat shield.

Nice compact unit that gives a big fire look!
Quick, easy install. Everything in place and works well. A little problem getting correct unit and sizing through the website fireplace selection pages, but eFireplaceStore.com finally came through and made it right. Especially thankful to Colin in Customer Service. Great attitude and really helped through the maze. There are so many selections that may fit your fireplace and many have their own nuances that you need to know about or you'll be ordering the wrong thing.
