Installing an ANSI Certified Glowing Ember burner system is also stress-free since it comes with everything you need to connect it to your log set.
This is a vented gas log burner that must be installed in a fully vented wood burning fireplace. With vented gas logs, you'll enjoy a large, realistic-looking flame that operates with an open chimney flue, or damper. Vented Gas Log sets, which simulate a wood-burning fire, are the most realistic type of gas logs but, just like real fires, lose some of the generated heat up the chimney. Vented gas log sets are the most popular type of gas logs sold. Professional installation is recommended.
Sets include custom grate, Real-Fyre Burner System, Granules (sand or vermiculite), Glowing Embers, grate clips/log locators, pan/connector kit and damper clamp.
This gas log burner comes with an Electronic Ignition Remote Ready Valve System. The electronic ignition system does not stay lit when your logs are turned off. There is not a standing pilot light. This feature saves energy because you are not burning gas when the logs are off. It is battery operated, so there are no wires needed. The system does not have variable flame height control thus the flame will always be the same height. The control valve and regulator is ANSI certified and is pre attached to the burner.

perfect replacement
We purchased this to replace a unit in a home we purchased. It was easy to install and works like a charm—so much better than the old unit, which did not have a remote. This is a vacation home, so we liked the option for click-to-ignite rather than a standing pilot. We still have some soot buildup on the logs, but we plan to get the chimney cleaned to see if this helps the air intake and solves that problem.
