Each set of gas logs looks like rugged split oak wood, cured for seasons that you remember. The logs not only look great, but are constructed of the highest-quality materials in the industry and reinforced with steel rods. And this gas log set offers alternative stacking possibilities for a different look. The gas flames dancing realistically through the holes in the top logs provide the finishing touch. You don't need to give up the homey look of split wood and you don't need to break your back trying to fill up the woodpile. All you need is a set of Real Fyre Ripped Split Oak Gas Logs by Peterson and you and your family can continue to have your winters the way you like them. The Real Fyre G45 Triple T Burner is a specialized gas logs burner that is similar to most high end gas log burners but adds an extra "T" shaped front burner which accentuates front ember presentation and adds depth to the flame, while maximizing warmth. With this cutting edge G45 burner, you will enjoy a more realistic looking fireplace by having an additional small row of front flames and more glowing embers. This is a vented gas log set that must be installed in a fully vented wood burning fireplace. With vented gas logs, you'll enjoy a large, realistic-looking flame that operates with an open chimney flue, or damper. These logs, which simulate a wood-burning fire, are the most realistic type of gas logs but, just like real fires, lose some of the generated heat up the chimney. Vented gas log sets are the most popular type of gas logs sold. Professional installation is recommended. Sets include handcrafted logs, custom grate, Real-Fyre Burner System, Granules (sand or vermiculite), Glowing Embers, grate clips/log locators, pan/connector kit and damper clamp. This gas log set is a Match Light system and does not come with a pilot kit. The fire is lit using a long match or lighter while you turn on the manual gas valve either on the floor or in the wall. The flame height is then controlled by adjusting the key valve. If you do not have a valve currently, you will need to purchase either the AV-17 or the AV-18. |

Awesome Logset
I was able to install this logset without any issues. The burning embers and realism of the logs have to be seen in person to be appreciated. It's perfect for a chilly night and a great way to warm up the room and add a cozy feel.
Live Fyre has great support and they were able to answer all of my questions along the way on how it works. It looks realistic and works great. The remote works well too. Thank you to eFireplace Store for all of their great help!
It takes some time to get the flame going, and then there is a bit "poof" when the fire actually starts.

Awesome
The gas log kit came with everything you need for a simple straight forward install. The set looks realistic and functioned perfectly.
The double bar burner adds realism to the flame pattern.
The detailed paint and texture on the logs looks real.
The ember material looks especially awesome when you set the flame super low.
You have the option to rearrange the logs for a different look.
Expensive to add auto light feature (pilot, or remote).
Logs feel softer and chalky after the first burn. Not really a problem, but it was noticeable when I had to rearrange the logs to avoid sooting.

Could not be happier!
We bought this house a year ago and it has a beautiful "see thru fireplace". The Peterson log set malfunctioned early this fall so we decided to replace it. We ordered a whole new set and couldn't be happier, not only with the price but also with the quick shipping. We have our fireplace stoked for the holidays!

Perfect for My Needs
After a very long time using actual wood fires in my fireplace, I decided to make the switch to a gas log set. I was tired of dealing with constant cleanup, making sure that the draft in the flue was working, and worrying about smoke getting into the house. This set is perfect.

Takes the Bit Out of the Cold
During the course of my shopping endeavors I spent a good deal of time looking at the different selections at the high-end patio and fireplace stores in my town. Might Need More Logs
I don't think that the set comes with enough logs to make the fire as realistic as possible, but after getting some extras I am pleasantly surprised by how natural the fire looks. The price is unbeatable for the amount of value you get out of this gas log set, even with having to purchase any extra logs for realism.
